and soooo the curtain draws over the end of an era. Here's hoping the next era would be better!
A BIG heartfelt thanks to all who attended my sis's wedding on 26th sept :D
I'm seriously touched that some came all the way from Tampines / Pasir Ris / Eunos/ Farrer Park when the mass was held so early :D And i know that the QSes had to set aside time for the wedding as well so im really grateful that you girls were able to make.. you girls totally rock!
Here are some behind the scenes pics :
Putting up the red banner:

Aunt Pacita making the flowers for the bridesmaids to put in their hair:

started playing ard with props and the camera and got this shot :D
Making of flower baskets to put at the pews:
Before we started taking pics, we had to soak the sponges in water for a day, cut the sponges according to shape and wrap them in aluminium foil and the results are here..
Had to cut the ribbons...
to tie bows on the baskets...
in order to turn them into this!
we then proceeded to flower arranging..

and presto!!

Because we did them two nights before, we had to hang all 30 baskets in an air conditioned room.. what we didnt manage to take was tt we had to constantly pour water into the sponges to keep the flowers fresh

On friday night, we had to to go to the church to place the flowers.. check out the altar flowers! :D my uncle and dad carried it up to church by hand as it was too precious to place in the car ( for fear of crushing it)

Tying the flower baskets to the pew..
the flower decorating committee ;D

were our efforts worth it?? i sure hope so! :D
tune in next time to find more photos of the actual day wedding!
