So it's been around 2 weeks since my Shanghai trip and i still miss every minute of it! :( :(
Here are a few snapshots of Shanghai.. Enjoy!
St Ignatius Cathedral at Xujiahui (We went to Chinese Mass on the first day! :D)
PS! Many thanks to Asilah for the loan of her awesome winter coat! If not for it, i would have frozen to death!
Also! Kudos to Sherlin who has always been a star in lending me her sweaters and scarves :D She's seriously a star! :D

Ahhhs... I love the Korean BBQ there!

Check out the amount of pork they gave us!

What we bought on the first day:

Yuyuan Gardens during the day:

Wedding Street:

When we went to the famous tourist attraction "The Bund", we got a bit bored of viewing the the city landscape.. and it was there we saw the most awesome sight ever!

TADA!
Note the footwear he is wearing.. For safety, he is only wearing one harness slung ard the pole.
These photos really leave me amazed..

If you look closely at the last pic, you can see tt one of them is taking photos of the Bund! hahaha!
The other guy was like the Master of all pole climbers.. Check out his pole...

All in all, a truly great sight! Was one of the highlights of my trip! :D
What we bought on the second day:
Walkin ard Dad's residence (It was super cold!)
I love this pic! Laugh every time i see it!

What we bought on the third day:
Shanghai Science and Technology Museum:
Animal world:
Artificial Rainforest (if our winter clothes didnt give a hint!):
Slanted room:
This was seriously the most disorientating room in the whole museum! The concept behind it was tt we have been conditioned to walk at a 90 degrees angle to the floor. so once they tilt the floor, we lose our balance and hav difficulty walkin ard as these photos would attest to!

Christine demostrates the correct way to walk :
Playing virtual volleyball (PS: I WON!) hahaha!

We had a machine draw our portraits. First u get your picture taken by the machine, and then it sketches it out for you.. Cool huh?

So whaddya say? Did the machine do a good job??

Punching bag to test the number of punches you can throw:
This machine tests the centripetal force.. you have to shoot as many balls as you at the target while the machine rotates really really fast.
The 360 degrees ride: Really spins you all ard!
Yuyuan Gardens at night:

Lift Lobby at Dad's residence:
Heh.. i tink that these photos really represent what a great companionship we had during this trip! I must confess that i was worried that both of us would strangle each other by the end of the trip. But i loved every minute of Christine's wonderful company! This China trip would not have been the same without her!
Went to the tailor to collect the clothes on the 4th day:
Other photos are in my camera so im just gonna skip ahead to our luggages! Guess how many luggages we had to haul back?
Answer: 4 big luggages (one which was carefully taped up by Christine "in case it burst") PLUS
4 boxes!!

Ahhhs! all in all, it was a fantastic trip! Wish i could go back again!
Sidenote: i miss my family already and wish tt they would come back asap!
