For someone who pesters others to put up their birthday wishlists, i didn't really like the idea of telling people what to get for me. I felt that it kinda took the surprise element out of it.. But! I changed my mind after shopping for the other birthday babies. Present hunting is hard.. esp if you don't really know what the birthday baby wants! Also, the expressions of glee on the jun-jul babies' face helped to convince me that a bit of the surprise is still retained (in the sense that they don't know which items of their wishlist we would pick!).

Hence, for the convenience of those working out there, i have made out a wishlist in excruciating detail so that you can just pop in and out of the store! :D Enjoy!

Adel's wishlist

- Sigh.. my dream job??

- For my ipod to miraculously start working.

- I need another pair of aviators to put in the car to wear while driving. Dayah bought a really nice pair from bugis for only $10!

- A bag for interviews/ work

- wallet (the coin compartment shud preferably be on the outside.. See Jing Xian's wallet for reference!)

- earrings for work

- pouch tt is big enough to put my hp and cash inside. Need it for lunch hour/ gg out for chomp chomp nights etc.

- Seamless or pretty lace bra. I'm 70b.

- Books! Preferably mystery/crime novels (but not lee child, sidney sheldon or ian rankin). I love the lincoln rhyme series of Jeffrey Deaver! *hint hint* The Jeffrey Deaver books i have read include Twisted, More Twisted, The Cold Moon, The Twelfth Card, The Empty Chair, Garden of Beasts, The Vanished Man, Speaking in Tongues, The Lesson of her death, The Coffin Dancer. Please dun get Bone Collector too. Angelina Jolie kinda spoilt tt image for me. The only prob with this option is that there may be a risk that i get 2 copies of the same book which happened during Christmas.

edit: Audrey says that she'll get me "The Stone monkey" so don't get tt too! Yay! I can't wait to read it!!!!

- Store vouchers as they mean tt i have to get out of the house and go to the store. heh!
- urm clothes. Often people give me really lovely clothes in a much smaller size which just serves to depress make me! lol! Height does not equal width!

By the way, for the "surprise" bday celebration, dayah was wondering whether we could go minds cafe. lol! We discussed it and we agreed that the city hall's one would be the best location. What do you think? Do let her know!
