Alcatraz from a distance
Eating at Denny's
Denny's is my ab fav eating outlet! Every time we go to US, we'll make sure that we get ourselves to Denny's! The staff is always super friendly, the portions generous and the food good value for money.
Once, when i was young, we ordered their oreo chip cookies sundae. My sister ordered one and i wanted one too. I thought that their sundaes would be in the same size as MacDonald's hot fudge sundae so i stubbornly refused to share an order with my sister. And then the sundaes came out. I swear, my jaws seriously dropped caused the glass was super big! By the time i got through a third of it, i was sick of ice cream! In the end, my dad told us to give up on finishing both the ice cream and try to finish one glass. Yet! We couldn't mange to finish any! That's how big the serving is!
So if you do see this sign, STOP and eat there!
Daddy started eating his "Moons over my Hammy" before i could snap a pic of the dish. gah!
Mummy wasn't hungry and asked for a bowl of soup, and got a HUGE surprise when the soup came because the portion was just too generous!
i forgot what audrey ordered.
The size of jie jie's pancakes. Look at how thick the pancakes are! They gave at least 3 pancakes (it only occured to me to snap a pic of it after we ate a bit of it!) And the pancakes were just the side dish!
My meat lover special
Fisherman's Wharf

On me: Sherlin's blue jacket. On Jie jie: Bag bought from Yiqi's online shop. On Audrey: Claryce's black jacket.
couldnt resist taking a pic of this cute girl
A seasoned traveller advised us to try the Dungeness Crab. He said that it will be a waste if we did not try it. He even went back to San Fran just to eat it again!! So off we trooped to get a taste!
They sell dungeness crabs by itself..

or in sandwiches or in cups (together with shrimps)

Simply delicious!!
It costs more to eat it in the resturant. So we decided to "da pao" it to eat near the sign!

The only prob with eating it there were the many many gulls flying around trying to get close to us in order to get the crumbs. That was quite nerve-wrecking actually.
Along Fisherman's Wharf is the famous bread shop "Boudin":
Clam Chowder Soup (if you walk to the stores we bought the Dungeness crab from, you can buy the same thing for a much cheaper price!)

ANNNnnnnd! im pleased to say that i caught a cute guy at Pier 39!! Check out the many shots of the guy in green! Cute???? Im mighty pleased to have been able to capture so many shots of him!! Enjoy!!
psst: In case you're wondering, the entertainer roped in 4 guys to do a trick. One that leaves them all lying on each other without any chairs under to support them!

Look Ma! No Chairs!

Went to this huge candy store and got myself the KING sized candy necklace! Missed those days when i had to beg and beg for this pretty necklace! Also bought novelty candy..

Audrey's braces get in the way of her sugar fix!
Awwww! Lean on me: when a couple supports each other... literally.

I am very very proud of this shot! Used the glass to reflect a bird standing somewhere else and caught the boat, the flag and the bird! Pity abt te bird shit though... ah wells.. NOT the photographer's fault!

Leaving you with a parting shot of this gull. eh! I had to jump ard and make all sorts of clicking noises in order to get the damn thing to look at me!
