So.

Over the last few days, i've been re establishing an important relationship and im happy to report that i was fairly successful. Me and my tv? We're pretty tight now. Countless viewings of the k drama "my girl", sex and the city ( i need to be prepared for the movie!) etc have gone a long way in addressing that issue.

Thanks to Asilah, i finally completed the viewing of "Amelie" and i loved it! It's quirky in a nice sweet way. I liked how everything could be random and yet play a part in the story later on.


The best part about the last few days? Is being able to hang out with ting! :D :D

Stupid D left me with only 1 week plus to plan outings with her. Bah. But still, we make the best of it! :) Had a lovely stress-free shopping trip and a DVD marathon complete with junk food and our 2 favourite guys, Ben & Jerry. :) :) :)

Anyways, she pointedly reminded me that i have yet to upload the rest of my europe trip photos! eeeeks! i was hoping no one wud notice that i got a wee bit lax abt tt matter! heh. but for my lovely ting who helped me so much in my dissertation.. (she helped me take photos in HK, Japan and Australia.. plus tried finding articles for me despite her slow internet.. if that doesnt show love, i don't know what else does!) , im gonna post them up!

Thus! It is my new year's resolution to post them asap! :D

So, im still trying to get down from the sugar rush i got from greedily popping many delicious pineapple tarts into my mouth.

We laughed till we cried, drooled over hot ninja guys who turned out to be gays, got many generous red packets, got frightened and awed by a huge dog who would deffo castrate Dash should they ever meet, helped xian's family polish off half a jar of her small spring rolls... It was, in one word, fun. :D

i would like to express my sincere thanks. Thanks for ruining every chinese new year. Ever since you came to this household, the heartache and tears have been never ending. If not for you, i would not have known how the ungrateful and cunning behave.

And wow! May i just show my amazement how you can continually wreck your own family? Gossiping about your own grand daughters to other grand daughters! I never knew anyone who would stoop that low but i guess i know one now! :D

of course, there is ur unwavering determination to cause this household pain as well! Not content to just wreck our lives through your malicious lies, you continually think up of devious ways to split this family apart.

And thanks! Thanks for not telling us that your favourite grand daughters wer coming ard dinner time! Thanks for not telling us that there would be 7 families coming and expecting dinner! It served as an unpleasant shock to us all and i hope you did not mind all the stony evil glares i have been shooting at you and your guests.

Thanks for ruining my plans, for dumping your guests on us all when you knew i had work to do. Even now as i shut myself up in the room to try to do work, i can hear the delightful sound of your stupid nasty squeaking.

Bad news comes on the heels of good news. In the midst of troubled times, snatching moments of laughter or enjoyment feels so wrong.
