Oh gawd. the new NDP song sucks big time. Whatever happened to the nice songs which the whole crowd can sing along to? The true classics, like "We are Singapore" and "Stand up, Singapore" are really the best. Cause everyone can sing lustily to the song and feel a sense of belonging! The new ones are just pretentious ones which are easily forgotten (just like the Harry Potter movies). And all the videos are the same... its

Got so many things to smile about meh? if i was the director, i wud make a little more fun... say
a) Throw in a few shots of scowling singaporeans as they queue up at the Raffles City donut shop
b) have a slow motion sequence where people run to their cars as soon as they hear parking warden has arrived
c) Show how students throw away their books as soon as they come out of the exam hall!
d) end up with shots of the many slogans singapore has come up with.
