Heh.
"The ASS is not curvy!!"
Props to Alvinna for giving the best quote of the week! I giggled when i first read it.
This week has been a seriously crazy week with the flurry of deadlines to be met. Everyday has been spent in IRC, frantically going through old books in order to fish out information for the major construction MNO project. I felt as if i was thrown into a jungle with no map or compass and told by my sadistic teacher to find my own way out. Kudos to Guo An and Ken for pointing me in right directions!
And when we finally finished the draft, he had to wickedly pull out the thick book of an actual tender document and tell us that we are supposed to do something like that in future. I swear, he was grinning in glee as he flipped through that thick stack of documents. He showed us the same stack of documents the last time we came to ask him questions. We had to show him the same appropriate expressions of horror to meet his expectations. Truthfully though, it wasn't that difficult to conjure up such horrified expressions. That book is one scary movie right there.
Anyways! I'm taking time off my geog assignment to de stress here. It's really interesting as we get to examine how the perception of beauty differs over space and time, and how globalisation has affected our perception of beauty. But somehow, i'm experiencing writers' block/ inertia. Heh, I was thinkin that we could describe ourselves like how some journalist will have a short description under their article (for eg. Kathleen is an associate prof who blah blah blah) and i suggested "Asilah, Sher Lin and Adeline are 3 verybeautiful girls irregardless of the country or time period they are in". But, it was Asilah who made the brillant contribution which could rival Alvinna's quote.
"
Asilah, Sher Lin and Adeline are 3 very beautiful girls irregardless of the country or time period they are in. So to hell with globalisation/americanisation/ westernisation"
heeheehee!
School's fun again. :) :) :)
