In an attempt to enrich our lives, we happily trooped off to chinatown to do some much needed cultural research.. Chinatown is simply awesome! Of course, you would need a knowledgeable tour guide and we had the best one there is aka Claryce. Then we had assistant tour guide Sherlin.. Through them, we discovered many hidden nooks of Chinatown and i even managed to score a very pretty gold necklace for jie jie!

We were supposed to go for a lecture but after the geek in me put up a mild fight, we just skipped the lecture to do more cultural research. The fight went like this:

me: we should go for lecture.
claryce: bye
me: okay then we shall not go for lecture.

Claryce is very persuasive isn't she?


So all in all, it was an excellent day indeed. :):):)

But i guess we walked off all tt fat coz by the time i took photos in the night, i looked a little better! Hahaha! Vanity. Thy name is Adeline.

Anyways! I went back to Chinatown coz JY said he knew a really really good cantonese dim sum place there.

Finally met up with my kaki! The last time we met, my hair was brown while hers was black.. Now, my hair is black while hers is dyed. That's helluva long time considering i grew my dyed hair out!

Thankfully, what the restaurant lacked in ambience, it made up for in yummilicious food! It was really good. Would def go back again if i knew how to get back to it! I had the best seat as i could see an old lady picking a fight with a waiter.. Dinner and a show! how much more can you ask for?


Chinatown is super pretty at night. Here's something i never do unless im with kaki :take a shot with scenery all by myself



We went exploring again and the shopaholic in me couldn't bear it anymore. I can resist anything except temptation! :):)

Just realised tt i bought many accessories but no clothes for CNY. Seriously contemplating about going half naked. Gah. Okay to end off a perfect day, im just gonna end it with a not so perfect activity which is to research for IT. zzzz
