so....... haze in singapore.

the psi is supposed to be in the range of 80 to 130 right now.. i have this sneakin suspicion that something is up with the dude measuring the PSI level right now. . there are times when the level jumps from 80 to 120 in one hour. and then slides right down the very next. or it can be super hazy out there making u say must be in the 100 liao.. and some report over the radio goes "its 80 now".. utter bullsh*t.

the haze is making everyone grumpy right now.. its a torture to get out of the house.. you cant run, you can't swim.. you walk 5 mins and you are perspiring like mad even though you have just bathed before you came out..

haiz! the only good thing i can see abt the haze is it gives everyone something to talk about. of course, the indonesian govt's comments only serve to add more fuel to the fire. is it just me? or when i read some of their comments, i'll go "did he just say that? was it a joke? ha. ha. coz its not funny."

hello! you are burining those said forests, hence by ur reasoning, you are depleting the oxygen supply.. and btw basic chemistry knowledge: burning stuff = eating up oxygen.. heh.

DUH. stopping a few fires may be a small step.. but nevertheless, its a step better than sitting on ur ass whining to newspapers and asking people what to do. arent governments supposed to be the representatives of the people? this comments make these people sound as if they went to Tom Cruise's school of how to conduct PR (courses include jumpin on couches to show undying love and how NOT to promote ur own religion)

comment#4: (this is my ultimate fav).. We burn the forests because of the agricultural cycle. But because we do not have the money to do it in another way that doesnt cause haze, we do it this way. it's your fault because if you had bought our goods at higher prices, we would have had the money to do it.

You know one thing that irks me in life? it's when people are wrong, and start making lame exuses to cover their bums. If you had told me, "yes, we are wrong, but there is nothing we can do about it becuase of the lack of funds.. we have to do it this way. Perhaps you can help us financially? so that we can get more sophiscated equipment to do this?" i would gladly help. tell me the truth. i can handle it.

No need to try to push the fuckin blame onto me.. Don't try to put me on a guilt trip coz i didnt pay higher prices for your country's goods. I pay what i tink the good is worth. that's the way the market rolls baby. Not because of sympathy. No Singaporean is gonna rush to an indonesian goods store and go "okay! i'm paying more.. stop burnin the trees now!" People hate to be manipulated. so if you gonna tell the victims suffering the consequences of your forest burning that it's their fault in the first place, they are not gonna be happy.

DON'T tell me it's my fault in the first place with such a far reaching excuse. it's like "my mother's uncle's dog's sibling's owner's grocery store owner." Too many ifs. How can u predcit tt if we had bought your stuff at higher prices, the money would eventually reach the right people? we can trace the haze to .... ur fire. burning down the forest. no ifs. so whose fault is it?

lesson: if you need financial help, no need to come up with a shitty brain excuse. tell me the reason why, how much and i'll do what i can do. no need for such shit stirring comments.

So really, instead of giving out such interesting comments, wouldnt it be better to just do something about the haze already? PS Whining? does not count as doing something.

in other words, this haze is not amusing and the longer it goes on with lovely dips which some doodlebrain obviously making up the numbers every hour (in some knucklebrain bid to see whether he can get away with it)... the more pissed the general population is going to be.
