my family is funny.. i asked them for photos from home... since im getting pretty homesick now.. and they took a picture of dash(the family dog) and sent it to me... this is amusing! but im seriously homesick. i was talking to my friends from slovakia and they asked me why i chose to come here. For a moment, i couldn't remember the reasons. Home memories just flooded back in that instant. the time when geetha showed me the leaflet, askin people to go with me on the trip, feeling brave while i signed up for the program, packin for the trip...
Yet, i know that i left all my problems back in Singapore.. procrastinating... so when i get back to singapore, i have to deal with a lot of crap. die!

rushed all the way here.. and found not many people online.. -_- imagine my face.. heh! thank God for weileen, jill and ting! die lahz.. im getting fatter.. gained over 20 pounds! *shrieks* and i have 2 weddings and one phototaking to go to! *goes berserk and runs around screaming* its the chocolate i tell you.. ah wells.. shall make a promise here.. i swear.. that i will be slim in my next life.. so! hand over that chocolate bar and nobody will get hurt!

went to san antonio last week.. it's friggin cool! there is a blend of old and new buildings in their downtown, so it makes it more interesting.. there are many statues honouring the memory of the city's history which added an interesting and somehow more personal touch to the city.
they have this section called Riverwalk which is a better version of Clarke Quay.. a real romantic place.. looks like a miniature venice. However, i felt strange as i walked through Riverwalk.. it was... akin to walking around on a Hollywood set. Everything is so clean.. the houses look too... everything looks too.. hmmmm like how a Hollywood Set would be.. I was expecting some director to jump out and say cut! We went to visit the Alamo and the Mission the next day.. i didn;t reallie enjoy the missions because they all looked the same to me..

Six Flags organised a outing for the international students the next day. They brought us to NASA and Kemah( some boardwalk by the beach). NASA.. was... well.. we took many photos if u get what i mean.. im not very interested in how different chemicals are used to boost rocket fuel.. call me a bimbo if u wan.. i won't pretend that i knew what on earth the person was talking about.. it seemed like she was speaking an entirely different language! believe me, i tried to get all excited about how the machine on Mars is digging at an efficient rate through the soft rocks.. but somehow.. i got more excited at the sight of ice cream.
Kemah was a miniature version of 6 flags so of coz i would not enjoy riding the rides! we took more photos of the friends we made than of the scenery lahz...

anyhows.. i have 10.. no scratch tt.. 9 more working days! time reallie flies! my lead, shift manager, store supervisor, cart supervisor all pretended to be sad tt im going! well... i dun tink they were serious but it felt good to noe that many people are sad about my departure! heh.. it's a pity i can't stay longer and maintain a closer relationship with the rest of the international students especially the slovakians. They are pretty nice.. At least now, i have enough travel plans for the next 3 years.. hoping to go bangkok with jill in dec.. there i got my thai roommates to intro good shops for us.. then maybe next year i shall go backpacking in europe.. maybe around polland and slovakia first! then france, columbia and czech republic! i dunnoe.. grand plans without money!
