sometimes.. i get so frustrated and irritated i just wan to scream and scream and scream! seriously.. yesh.. it's cool being part of the minority for once..but! just because im asian, you do not..

oh gosh.. its so difficult to be part of the 3% of the world's population who are smart. i dun get why some people have this funny misconception that asian's can't understand english. we just speak with a different accent. like how they sound funny to us! what's wrong with not conforming to their accent? oh good grief!

the sad thing about my work is.. i dun even noe how the whole park looks like.. or whcih rides are fun.. which food is good.. coz i haven even stepped further than 10 ms frm my workplace.. sad huh? and when i wash the utensils and containers.. i dun even get to eat the food tt dirtied them! lagi sad right??

how do u feel when the very thing u have been tryin to hard to be patient with... suddenly ends? tt's how i feel now.. dunnoe what to feel.. andy has resigned his job. tt chapter of my life is about to close very soon.. i feel like somebody who has been taken away frm a horrible situation.. just very dazed and lost now.. but in a sense.. relief and a sense of ease has started to register... thanks baby... i noe i may not be the sole reason for your resignation.. but being the by product is still as good.

"houston houston, we have a problem".. adeline has landed! bwahahahahaha... been here for 6 days now.. and taken over 300 photos.. there are too many for u guys to view.. am thinkin of settin up a photobook any ideas on how to do it??

america is pretty kind so far...it turns out it is difficult to get access to the medical library so i cant reallie come online.. if i do.. it will be on weekdays ard your time 12 to 6 am...right now.. im in this reallie cool cafe.. which allows you to use their wireless.. their ambience here is reallie nice.. with chocolate brown walls and jazz music playin in the background... art is hangin all around and there are brick walls too... reallie welcoming and nice! not many people and everyone is just using their laptops.. so its quiet.. we found this cafe thru the visitors' centre.. i love houston! it is absolutely amazing! the city is full of such beautiful buildings of such different and majestic architecture... totally awesome!! we spent one whoel day jjust wandering aroudn downtown and takin photos!

our uniforms look like the old fashioned police.. even my dad would not choose to wear the khaki shorts! i look like "MATA" frm the old times.. *sulks* all i need is the baton to swing around.. and get this.. we have to tuck in.. i didnt even do tt in NYJC! gosh.. and we have to pay for this disgustin belt tt has a gold buckle.. im just wondering what the hell am i gonna do with the belt after i get back to singapore.. the work here is tough but fun... i have a newfound respect for fast food people. u see.. because im low on cash.. i try to get as many hours as possible.. we are paid on an hourly basis.. so i try to work frm openin hours to closing hours.. and after the restaurent closes.. we have to wash and sterilise all the equipment.. make the whole area spotless before handing over our cash to the cash control people.. so by the time i reach bac it will be like 8 to 9... by tt time.. because we choose not to take breaks... we are starving.. and after eating.. we are often so exhasuted. we just fall asleep.. so my schedule for weekends now is wake up early..bathe.. grab something to eat.. take the rail and walk to work around 9 am.. work all the way till 9 pm then eat, bathe and sleep.. sounds repetivie huh?? but on mons- weds we are free to tour around.. so so far i have gone shoppin and downtown.. yeahzzz.. houston is a beautiful place.. i love the architecture here... am applying my VERNACULAR architecture knowledge here..
the people i have met here are nice.. but they can never EVER replace you guys.. seriously miss you guys like crazy! i wish jill was here with me to bitch... tan... and gossip! and listen to my woes... and just laugh! i wish pei, mel, ting, neels and zu were here to make light of the situation and be very amused with everything here.. for us to discuss the day and all.. i wish geetha was here so we can admire the buildings! i wish wei leen was here so tt i can run to him everytime i feel sad.. just like in singapore.. i wish vern and ah lai were here so we can hang out just like in pgp... oh guys! i miss u so much!
i miss andy... no matter what.. words can't replace hugs and i need a HUG! i miss hanging out with him and even.. yes.. *scowls* his suaning... i miss the way he laughs, the way his face will change when he realises tt he has just suan me.. i miss how we will just laugh our asses off everytime we land ourselves in deep shit.. and basically.. just.. being with him. just him.
so far we have 20 singaporeans here.. i have made frens with my batch and 4 more.. they are pretty funny.. lucky thing we all can click well! im the youngest here.. so often kana suan and bulllied.. on the other hand they always look out for/after me so i cant realie complain.. and we always play the cat and mouse game.. in which i would wander off to find them and they will look all over for me... bwahahaha and the game begins!
reallie feel for the guys coz they feel uneasy leavin the girls alone.. hence, they are forced to wait around while we shop.. poor things! gentlemen without reward.. so far, there is a split in my group.. so its just 3 to 4 guys waitin ouside for 2 girls! bwahahahahaha... poor things u noe.. we are plannin to go over to NASA one day... and im reallie excited about runnin over to the stadium to catch a baseball game.. pity the houston rockets didnt make it to the playoffs or i wud be able to watch a football gmae in action too! and i so wanted to catch an american football game.. ah wells! oasis is comin.. unfortunately i will be back in singapore by then.. damn... im thinkin bout watchin the keane concert though!
have not checked out the nightlife here yet.. but its supposedly fun.. and qwuit quite safe coz our supervisor will bring us clubbing.. lookin forward to it.. i haven gone down to galveston but then.. everyone here has slowed down their pace.. we are not in any rush... if i slow down my opace of living anymore.. i will have to walk backwards! i wonder how i ever am gonna adjust when i go bac to singapore!
in 6 days, we have taken 300 photos.. normally, i wouldnt take single pics.. but this trip has changed me! u can see several pics in which im alone...

of coz the guys dun allow us to go anywhere without them coz its supposedly a pretty dangerous place.. i didnt reallie believe it till yeaterday.. we went shoppin and there was this man.. he tried to seat next to my fren and i.. and started checkin us out in a very obvious manner... with this perverted smile all the time.. it was reallie unnerving coz it was very done in this freaky manner.. imagine the person beside you... shiftin their body to face you and then lookin you up and down.. gosh.. u should have seen all the guys' faces! we had to change seats with them.. and even then.. the guy just shifted to look at us! gosh! even the passengers helped us and later.. when we got off the bus.. they asked what was wrong with tt guy! yep!
how have u guys been doing?? maybe u can email me or something?? i will try to call u guys one by one.. but hey! no rush... heeeee.... i haven gotten the slang yet though...

there are many thais workin here.. and let me tell you.. thai girls are pretty... i wonder why men ever wan to transform to women in thailand.. coz there is no way anyone can compare to thai girls! they have great figures, are reallie nice.. as in reallie reallie nice and so beautiful! the guys are reallie cool and are more often than not.. cute! often after work, you see all the internationals gathered outside ... waitin to be taken home.. the thais will be smiling and laughiun.. while the singaporeans will be grumbling, groanin and of coz.. complaining! but the thais still can bounce around and tok.. they are amazingly cheerful and happy about life! woooah manz! no wonder they call thailand the land of smiles! i haven taken any pics with them yet. but soon! heh! my roomies are nice but i often stay with the singaporeans.. its true tt pple tend to stick together in their own nationalities... yeahz...
